Description
This is a new Bizen black sake cup fresh from the kiln by Masao Akiya, an artist who trained under Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki and creates works brimming with unique originality within a new aesthetic spirit. The cylindrical form is transformed into a strikingly dynamic sake cup through just three distinct cuts. These bold cuts are harmonized with the body by the application of a black slip over the surface. The rim features a faint, beautiful blue hue, providing a perfect scenic quality.
