Description

This Bizen sake cup is the work of Kazuki Nakamura, who follows in the tradition of the masters Rokuro and Shin Nakamura to create pieces with profound character. It is a softly fired piece with a deep reddish clay base overlaid with black ash. The interior, which features the distinctive, rich clay texture characteristic of the Nakamura family, seems to teach the user the true pleasure of using Bizen ware. Not only is the front of the interior beautiful, but the foot is also wonderfully crafted, making it a joy to appreciate even after finishing one's drink. Signed wooden box (double-slat lid)
