Description
This Bizen small plate is the work of Jumpei Kaneshige, the eldest son of Kosuke Kaneshige, the leading figure of the Kaneshige family. Adhering to traditional methods of clay preparation, he uses clay that has been manually refined and aged in an earthen storehouse for many years. The refined, light-brown quality of the clay exudes a sophisticated elegance, capturing a vivid sense of vitality within its weathered aesthetic. Its graceful style makes it versatile for any culinary use, though it is particularly well-suited for enhancing the colors of vibrant foods like fresh fruit or Japanese sweets.
