Description

This Ibe sake cup was created by Iwao Kaneshige, who was born and raised in the prestigious Kaneshige family and diligently continues the tradition of the kiln used for generations by the great Toyo Kaneshige and Michiaki Kaneshige. Crafted using high-quality clay handed down through the Kaneshige family that has been painstakingly prepared, this piece features a magnificent scarlet hue that seems to reflect the deep affection Iwao has poured into the clay. When moistened with sake, the brilliant scarlet color becomes even more beautiful, seemingly enhancing the fragrant aroma of the drink. It is a wonderful piece that provides such an exceptional tactile experience and visual scenery that you will find yourself pleasantly intoxicated in no time.
