Description

This Bizen sake cup is by Tozo Konishi, a master who was born the grandson of the renowned craftsman Toko Konishi and who has captured the hearts of many with his unique works backed by solid technique. It is a sake cup with a clean white base featuring vibrant, clear red *hidasuki* (fire-cord) markings. The front and back utilize different types of *hidasuki*—one linear and one as a surface—to add depth to the appearance, while deep *hidasuki* markings are also placed within the interior, ensuring it never fails to captivate the viewer. The rim is finished thinly as if the clay were squeezed, and combined with the delicate charm of the *hidasuki*, it seems well-suited for Western spirits, particularly white wine. Original signed wooden box (shiho-zan)
