Description
This is a Bizen teapot by Takashi Baba, who was born in Imbe and has loved Bizen ware since childhood, finding joy in crafting works and firing kilns. It is fired using a steaming technique, creating a cool, refreshing appearance with "hidasuki" (fire-cord) markings in pale light blue against a near-white gray base. The design, which fully showcases Takashi Baba's aesthetic sense, becomes more charming the longer you look at it; the freehand-cut lid and the conch-shell-like knob are particularly intriguing. The stylish design combined with the silvery finish allows for a different atmosphere and pairing compared to traditional Bizen style.
