Description
This is a Bizen mukozuke by Jumpei Kaneshige, the eldest son of Kosuke Kaneshige, the leading figure of the Kaneshige family. Rather than considering storage or convenience, this mukozuke was created with a focus on a sculptural style. Its playful form features remarkably sharp spatula work that is so captivating, you may find yourself staring at it and forgetting to eat. Using the high-quality clay that is the pride of the Kaneshige family, the refreshing, bright brown coloration results in a clay texture that appears simple yet is of exceptionally high quality.
