Description
This is a Bizen sake cup by Junpei Kaneshige, the eldest son of Kosuke Kaneshige, a leading master of the Kaneshige lineage. The firing has resulted in a slightly sweet finish, with a rich persimmon-like scarlet hue that sake enthusiasts will appreciate. A similarly soft scarlet tone appears on the interior, offering the pleasure of watching the piece develop with use. No machinery is used in the process; the clay is prepared in harmony with its natural state, allowing you to enjoy the moist, gentle texture unique to earthenware.
