Description
This is a Bizen beer tumbler by Yoshiteru Koriki, a popular young artist who was an apprentice to the master Sozan Kaneshige. This latest work was removed from the kiln in January 2017. Compared to previous beer tumblers, it is thinner, with the clay particularly well-refined around the rim. It is also slightly shorter in height; the thin, light, and perfectly sized design makes it easy for women to use as well. The quality of the clay remains, of course, exceptional, and one can enjoy the delicate scenery where the colors shift into various hues such as scarlet and amber depending on the area.
