Description
This is a new Bizen beer cup by Kazuki Nakamura, a master craftsman who continues the lineage of his grandfather Rokuro Nakamura and father Makoto Nakamura, creating works of profound depth. While following in the footsteps of these legendary sake vessel makers, this cup features the unique, personal flair that defines Kazuki’s style, distinct from that of his father and grandfather. With a traditional form passed down through three generations, it is characterized by an expansive body and a "beta-giri" (flat-cut) foot that retains the marks of the potter's wheel. The pronounced wheel marks provide a comfortable grip, adding both visual interest and practicality. The clay itself has an incredibly fine texture, which will become softer and smoother to the touch the more it is used.
