Hello everyone, how are you doing?
There is only a little time left in this year.
Thank you very much for your continued patronage throughout 2015.
In my work, I have focused not on how to display pieces, but on how to convey the "message" contained within them.
When confronting a piece, factors such as flashy surroundings or glamorous presentation
are ultimately outside the essence of the work; I believe what should be seen and known lies within the work itself.
Just as Bitchu Matsuyama Castle surely exists even when hidden within a sea of clouds,
I will continue to strive next year to faithfully convey the messages residing within my pieces.
Kawaguchi Tourakuen will resume operations for the new year on Wednesday, January 6th.
We look forward to your continued support in the coming year.
