Hello everyone, thank you very much for visiting the "Microcosm in the Palm of Your Hand" exhibition.
Although my writing and photographs are modest, I am truly happy that so many people had the chance to see them.
I hope that even a little bit of the profound and wonderful charm of the *houhin* teapot was conveyed.
As the title "Microcosm in the Palm of Your Hand" suggests, I believe the *houhin* to be something of extremely high density.
It represents the culmination of the immense ceramic skills of our predecessors, poured unsparingly over a very long period of time.
I think it is as precious as a diamond, refined over a great span of time.
Even in today's world of ceramics, which centers on the electric potter's wheel, it remains uniquely brilliant.
Whether you are already a fan of *houhin* or are wondering what a *houhin* is, I hope you will continue to support Bizen *houhin* in the future.
