味わい深きは暫時愛用の酒呑なり4

The sake cup I have cherished for a short while is deeply evocative.

Hello everyone, how are you all doing? Today, for the fourth installment of our popular "Favorite Personal Items Series," we had the pleasure of viewing a piece personally cherished by Takashi Baba. Although the title is "Sakenomi" (Sake Drinker), this time he showed us his favorite kyusu (teapot). Mr. Baba has been broadening the scope of his activities in recent years, exhibiting his work at overseas exhibitions in places like Taiwan, and this is a side-handled teapot he fell in love with at first sight and purchased at a gallery in Taiwan. Feeling a deep resonance, he even went to visit the artist who created the piece. It seems the artist was a very elderly veteran (he mentioned he had forgotten their name), whose dancing style carries an air of true freedom and boldness; it is easy to understand why it touched Mr. Baba’s heart. Mr. Baba is currently very busy with kiln firings and unloading, but I hope that once things settle down, he can enjoy a relaxing tea with this teapot and take a well-deserved rest. We will introduce Mr. Baba's new works on our website and other platforms as they arrive, so please stay tuned.
